Albert Vincent Sheahan, 66, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at his residence. He was born May 10, 1945, in St. Louis, the son of William and Carol (Cherovenac) Sheahan. He married Kathleen (Jordan) Bollinger on Nov. 7, 1977, in Spanish Lake, Mo. She survives. He was a heat and frost insulator with Asbestos Worker's Local 1 for 35 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of North Side Athletic Club in Missouri. Survivors include daughter and spouse, Chris and Joe Greenberg of Alton; two sons and spouse, Mark and Laura Ing of Godfrey, Jeromey Bollinger of Bethalto; eight grandchildren, Heather and Keith Gallup, Catelyn Blackwell, Nick and Autumn Greenberg, Joseph Ing, Jessica Ing, Jordan Ing, Rachel Bollinger and Jacob Ing; four great-grandchildren, Keigan Gallup, Haylea Greenberg, Braeden Scoggins and Zoei Greenberg; a brother, Dennis Sheahan of Florissant, Mo; two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Clyde Just of Bremerton, Wash., Deborah Morelli of Canton; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Ing; and a brother, William Matthew Sheahan. Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River. Burial will be private at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. Memorials may be of one's choice.
