Just 5 hours after coming into this world, Avalyn Dianne Hopkins passed away peacefully in her parents' arms at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Louis MO. During that fleeting time, she touched many lives and is loved by all. Avalyn gave us a lifetime of love in her short time on earth.

Avalyn was born 9 days before her due date, weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces, 20 inches long. She had beautiful dark hair, with a face like her mommy and brother and eyes like her daddy. She was born at 12:40 am and passed at 6:11 the same morning.

Avalyn joins her great grandmothers: Judi Davis and Jackie Bledsoe; great grandfathers: Bob Davis Sr., Herman Travis and Fred Hopkins; great uncle Bob Davis: Jr. in heaven. She is survived by her mother and father: Erika and Kris Hopkins; her brother: Roan; grandparents: Katrina and Sam Travis, Mendy Robbins, Dylan and Carla Hopkins; great grandparents: Diane Travis, Kenny and Kay Robbins, Linda and Vern Backfisch; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm at Discovery Family Church following with the funeral at 5:00pm on October 29th.
