Bette Jo Ives, 76, passed away at 5:10 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at her residence.

Bette was born on April 20, 1944 in Alton.  She was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Irene (Winters) Robbins.

Bette and Jessie Leon Ives were married on February 14, 1974 in Alton.  Jessie passed away January 4, 2017.

Bette was a Homemaker.  She had been a long time member of the American Legion in South Roxana.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Brenda Thompson of Highland, Cindy and Frank Chester of East Alton; three sisters, Doris Churchich of Edwardsville, Norma Vandaventer of Fort Charlotte, Fla, Bonnie and Doug Hay of South Roxana.

Besides her husband Jessie and parents, Bette was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Mitchell; a brother, John LeRoy Robbins.

Because of Covid-19, services for Bette will be private at this time.
