Carroll Ann Jennings, 76, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St Anthony's Health Center in Alton.

Born in Harrisburg, December 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Braden) Hayes.

Carroll worked as a Medical Office Manager for Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, Bayfowne Texas Hospital, Harrisburg Hospital and for Dr. Bill Yates, who was like a son to her.  She drove to Harrisburg daily for work. Carroll also worked in medical Transcription's that she taught and worked at home.

Carroll was a member of the North Alton Baptist Church.  She will always be remembered for being a wonderful friend and kind hearted person and for her talent as an accomplished organ and piano player.  She played for many churches, whether she was a member or visitor.  She played for gospel events and quartet's.

Carroll was a foster grand parent to Malyhki and Autumn.

A memorial celebration of Carroll's life will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. service time, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the North Alton Baptist Church, 2245 State St., Alton.

Pastor Sonny Renken will Officiate.

Burial will take place at a future date at The Masonic Cemetery in Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial to the North Alton Baptist Church has been designated.
