Debra Lynn Dale, of Cottage Hills, 63, passed away at 3:37 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Debra was born on September 1, 1958 in Wood River.  She was a daughter of the late Wilbur L. and Vera Maxina (Wilson) Dale.

She was a homemaker and had worked for many years at the Pancake Ranch in Wood River until it closed.

Debra love Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She collected all kinds of their memorabilia, but her favorite thing of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Lynn Dale of Bethalto, Gail Lynn Dale of Wood River; three grandchildren, Serenity Dale, Isabel Dale, Chloe Dale; two sisters, Sandra Kenshalo of Alton, Donna Billins of Fort Myers, FL; one brother, Terry Dale of Brighton; best friend Gail Moore of Moro, whom she loved like a sister; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Debra was a wonderful mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She had a heart of gold and made an impact on everyone she met and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parent's, Debra was preceded in death by a brother Kevin Dale.

A private celebration of Debra's life is planned at the VFW in Cottage Hills.
