Eileen R. Reader, age 90, passed away peacefully, August 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born October 17, 1927 in Wood River, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Pearl (Cummings) Kelly.

Eileen and Charles J. Reader were married January 6, 1950.

Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, JoAnn and Carl Hogle of Wood River, Carol Balsai of Roxana, Connie White of West Berlin, New Jersey; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Leslie Reader of South Roxana, Bill and Rhonda Reader of Wood River, Bob and Karen Reader of Rosewood Heights; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mary Kelley of Wood River.

Eileen was preceded by her husband of 39 years.

Services will be private with burial at Fosterburg Cemetery.

Gray Funeral Home of Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
