Etta Hope Arnold, 94, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at VIP Manor in Wood River.
Born July 18, 1919 in Shenandoah, IA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Priscilla Grace (Jones) Williams.
Etta began working for Laclede Steel Co. in Alton during WWII as a Crane Operator, retiring after many years of service.
She loved her job and was a very generious person always ready to help those in need. Etta will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, IA., Bishop Timmy Shipley will officiate.
