Jessica Lynn Joiner of Altadena, CA, 34, passed away at 11:26 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Collinsville, IL.

Born on November 24, 1987 in St. Louis, MO, she was a daughter of the late Jeff L. Joiner and Julie (Gilson) Joiner of St. Louis, MO.

Jessica and her husband Eric David Escott of Altadena, CA were married on October 20, 2018 in Pasadena, CA.

Jessica was an administrative assistant for the Valley County Water District in California for two years.

Besides Eric and her mother, she is survived by one step-daughter, Hazel Jane Escott; one step-son, Atticus Walter Escott; half-sister Nicole Joiner of St. Louis; grandfather, Thomas Richard Gilson of Mehlville, MO; one aunt, Sue and Doug Iliff of Mehlville, MO St. Louis County; two uncles John and Vicki Gilson of Kirkwood, MO, Tom Gilson of St. Paul, MN.

Jessica's sister Jamie Leann Joiner passed away the same day at 11:24 a.m. in Collinsville.

A life celebration for Jessica and Jamie will be at a later date.
