Jon Jeramy Wicker, 36, of East Alton, IL, passed away at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Jeramy was born July 1, 1988 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Alton. Jeramy was  the son of the late Thomas Joseph Wicker and Michele Rene' Mason of East Alton. He is one of nine family members born at St. Joseph's, all delivered by the same Doctor.

Leaving school early to take care of his ailing mother, he received his GED and worked as a Care Giver through the State of Illinois Department of Rehabilitation for 20 years.

Along with his mother, Jeramy is survived by one sister, Tiffany Medlin of Wentzville, MO; two nieces, Destiny and Gabriella Madlin of Wentzville, MO; best friend, Kaila Turner of Godfrey, IL; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides his father, Jeramy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Patsy Mason; paternal grandparents, Willie Morgan and Helen Wicker; two uncles, William Mason, Kevin Mason.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.

Jeramy was a self-taught guitarist who loved to shoot off fireworks.  He loved planting vegetables in the garden and watching them grow. Jeramy had a green thumb so house plants were a must. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials may be given to that of one's choice.
