BUNKER HILL - Joshua "Josh" David Smith, 37, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Christian N. E. Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Dec. 29, 1976, in Alton, the son of David Lee and Connie Ann (Belt) Smith of Bunker Hill.
He married Heather Ann Kruse on July 13, 2001, in Edwardsville. Josh loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting.
Survivors include a daughter, Kennedy Smith and one son, Brennen Smith, both at home; one sister, Jamie and Dennie Johansen of Wood River; a niece, Lyndsey; and nephews, Justin and Logan; mother-in-law, Tara Howland of Alton; and brother-in-law, Josh Howland of Alton. Preceded in death by grandparents, Lloyd and Marie Belt and Thelma Smith.
Memorial visitation from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. on Tuesday April 15, at River of Life Family Church 3401 Fosterburg Rd.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
