JUNE BOOKER WOOD RIVER — June E. Booker, 86, died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Rosewood Care of Alton
She was born June 30, 1927, in Cairo a daughter of Earl and Nora Lee Day (Holder).
She married James Haywood Booker Sept. 27, 1947, in Cairo. He died.
June was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara, and Robert L. Cadle of Shipman; son, Barry, and Debra Booker of Davenport, Iowa; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Winters of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Christian Gill, and a brother, Earl L. Day.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River. Rev. Steve Gray will officiate.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
