Edwardsville-Kathryn Marjorie Ringering, 93, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, in Fairview Heights with her family around her.
Kathryn was born May 18, 1921 in Dorchester, she was a daughter of the late Machie E. and Susan Melissa (Wilder) Crouch.
She and Erwin B. Ringering were married January 9, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. He passed away July 5, 2005.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Gayle Ward of Cottage Hills, Roxane Jarman of Granite City; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Crouch of Roland, Iowa.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carole Howard; one son John Benner Longview; one great-granddaughter, Amber Strawn; three sisters, Carol Blom, Irene Crouch and Goldie Stagner; three brothers, Herman Crouch, Rev. William Crouchand Charles Crouch.
A memorial celebration will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ on Bluff Road in Edwardsville with the Pastor Diane Grohman officiating. Memorials may be giver to the Alzheimer's Association. Katheryn's wish was to be donated to Washington University
