Richard "Rick" Lee Hoggatt, 61, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Integrity Healthcare of Alton.

Rick was born July 29, 1959 in East Chicago, IN.  He was a son of the late Gary R. and Marsha (Cates) Hoggatt, Sr.

Rick and the former Michele Melcher of Bethalto, were married on April 19, 1980 in East Alton.

He worked in construction at R & M Siding and Windows Company, retiring after 22 years.

Besides his wife, Rick is survived by two daughters, Jenefer and Jason Pellazari of Wood River, Kaleena and Christopher Galletta of Bethalto; five grandchildren, Ericka Meiser of Wood River, Aidyn Pellazari of Alton, Carter O'Brien of Bethalto, Ryder O'Brien of Bethalto, Elloise Galletta of Bethalto; three sisters, Bonnie and David Stewart of Greenville, TX, Cari Ann Miller of Homosassa, FL, Diana Engelhorn of Lodi, CA; two brothers, Gary and Donna Hoggatt, Jr. of Alton, Greg and Jenny Hoggatt of Alton.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Hoggatt.

Services will be private.

Gray Funeral Home in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
