Ronald Gene Perkinson, 52, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO with family and friends by his side.
Born May 4, 1963 in Houston, TX, he was a son of the late Robert Eugene Perkinson and Dorothy Ruth (Eidson) Perkinson Eby.
Ronald worked as a Forman for the Labor Union Local 338 in Wood River. Due to poor health, he retired after working several years.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Staci A. and Steven Ward of Letona, Ark., Danylle and David Spencer of Alton; one son, Ronald E. Perkinson of South Roxana; five grandchildren, Tara, Carter, Addyson, Jayden and Baby Perkinson on the way; four sisters, Mary E. Cummins of St. Louis, MO, Barbara D Perkinson and Bernie Geist of Roxana, Rita Perkinson`Livingston of Houston, TX, Janet Durand of San Antonio, TX; brother, Robert Strasen of Rosewood Heights; sister-in-law, Theresa Perkinson of South Roxana; numerous nieces and nephews. His special little dog, Jazzy.
Ronald was a member of the Bluff City Motorcycle Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis W. Perkinson.
A memorial celebration of Ronald's life will begin at 5:00 PM until service time of 7:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2015 at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River.
Burial will be private.
Memorials may be given to the family in lieu of flowers.
