Steven Gail Gingerich, of Packwood, IA, 62, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield, IA.

Steve was born October 29, 1959.  He was a son of the late Ralph Gingerich and Ruth (Pahmer) Gingerich Eagle.

He and the former Clark Ann Gray were married on March 23, 1991 in South Roxana, IL.  She passed away November 22, 2013.

Steve worked in construction until he was disabled in 1996.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Gingerich of Washington, IA; Nephews, Tracy Milford, Nick Smith; one uncle, Tom Palmer and Joan of Washington, IA; two aunts, Karen Goodlander of Taylor Falls, MN, Paula Entsminger and John of Washington, IA; mother-in-law, Janice Gray of Wood River, IL; brother-in-law Stephen Gray & Denise of Maryville, IL; Niece, Hannah Mowrey & Dom of Glen Carbon, IL; nephews, Jacob Gray & Bene' of Fosterberg, IL, Caleb Gray of Maryville IL, Levi Gray of Maryville; several cousins.

Besides his wife and parents, Steve was preceded in death by one sister, Vickie Retcherman; two brothers, Jeffery and Terry Gingerich; father-in-law Glen Gray.

Committal service will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana, IL.
