Tim Elson Grant, Sr., 59, passed away at 10:01 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at his residence.

Tim was born on April 14, 1960 in Centreville. He was a son of the late James and Dorothy (Kolb) Grant.

Tim and the former Becky Louise Brickeen were married on June 20, 1982 in Cahokia.  Becky passed away on December 20, 2018.

He worked for the Belleville News Democrat, delivering the paper for 32 years before retiring.

Survivors include two daughters, Sara Grant of Belleville, Cynthia Grant of Mascoutah; two sons, Tim and Amber Grant, Jr. of Mascoutah, Kristopher Grant of Columbia; fourteen grandchildren, Reine, Braden, Melody, Antonio, Eziekiel, Gabriel, Ta'Khiyrah, Kaeveon, Christian, Ahna'le, Adelynn, Kloe, Kristopher Jr., Karley; one brother, Don Terry and Rose Grant of Flordia.

Besides his wife and parent's, Tim was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Weilbacher.

Tim will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A memorial celebration for Tim will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Discovery Family Church at 699 S. Bluff Rd. in Collinsville, with services following at 3:00 p.m.  Pastor Steve Gray will officiate.

Burial will be private.
