Timothy Mark Edward Meyer, 53, passed away at 10:05 a.m., Friday , July 18, 2014 at his home.
Born September 14, 1960 in Staunton to Orville H. and Arlie V. (Nearn) Meyer.
Timothy worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Alton School District for 5 years until he was disabled by an injury.
He is survived by three sisters, Laveta Owens of Newport News, Virginia, Juanita Gossett of Cusseta, Georgia and Rebecca Fuller of Staunton; one brother, David M. Meyer of East Alton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27,2014, at The Emmanuel Church Of Jesus Christ, 332 S. Brown Street (corner of Brown and Dewey) in Edwardsville. Rev. Carlos Bryant will officiate.
