Obituary
SOUTH ROXANA —
Tommie E. Twente, 78, died at 9:30 p.m. on Friday October 30, 2015 at Kendred Regional Hospital in St Louis, Mo after a lengthly illiness.
He was born May 7, 1937 in Olive Branch Il to the late Tom J. and Edna V (Buster)Twente.
He retired from Whelan Security at Laclede Steel in Alton as a security guard in 2001.
A Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966.
Survivors are one sister and a brother-in-law, Phyllis and Gene Jackson, one brother and sister-in-law, Noren (Deak) and Patty (Hill) Twente all of South Roxana, several neices and nephews, great neices and nephews who loved him very much, several cousins and one uncle Jim Buster of Bardwell, Ky.
According to his wishes he will be cremated and a private service at a later date. Burial will be in Thebes, Il.
He was preceded in death by one brother Gary Twente, nephew Bradley Twente, grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart or Lung Association.
