MORO Tracy K. Johnson, 50 died at 9:16 pm, Wednesday, August 7, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, at home with her family and friends by her side. She was born June 22, 1963 in Alton. A daughter of the late Thomas and ?Nita Kay? Burney. She most recently worked as a school bus driver for First Student, but spent many years as a postal worker for the Glen Carbon Post Office. Tracy loved life and never hesitated to help a person in need. Survivors include daughter, Amanda Johnson of Moro; one sister, Tina Delp of Cottage Hills; 3 brothers, Thomas Burney, Jr. of Arizona, Tim Burney of Wood River and Ted Burney of Roxana; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. At Tracy?s request a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family at p.o. Box 834, Brighton, IL 62012. Arrangements are being handled by Gray Funeral Home in Wood River.
