William Stanley Wagner, passed away on December 2, 2025, at Evercare at University in Edwardsville, at the age of 67. He was born on July 9, 1958, in Jacksonville, Illinois, to the late Charles Gene and Marlyn Jean (Reeves) Wagner.

William faced many challenges throughout his life, being disabled for most of his years.

He is survived by two sisters, Janet Rivera of Godfrey and Jeanne Weber of Moro, and one brother, Richard Wagner and Jackie of Brighton.

William was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Gene Wagner, Jr., who now joins him in eternal rest.

In accordance with his wishes, services will be private. The family appreciates everyone’s understanding during this time of mourning. Arrangements are entrusted to Gray Funeral Home in Wood River.
