Janice Gray

President

Glen was born in Alton, and moved to South Roxana in 1952 Glen graduated Roxana High in 1965. He and the former Janice Boswell were married October 16, 1965 and lived in South Roxana. Glen is a U.S. Army Veteran and was drafted as he would say "Friday the 13 of May, 1966" and served during the Vietnam War. After finishing basic training and leadership school he was stationed at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks Alaska. He flew there on their 1st anniversary. Janice followed one month later. Their daughter Clark Ann was born that spring. After returning home he went back to work at McDonnell-Douglas Corp. in St. Louis, MO and Janice back as a Beautician in Roxana. In 1970 their son Stephen was born. In the summer of 1972 Glen moved his family to Carbondale, IL where he attend Southern Illinois University, and in 1975 having finished his three years requirements received his Funeral Director-Embalmer license. Glen worked for a funeral home in Sullivan, IL for over three years before the purchase of Gray Funeral Home in 1978. Sadly their daughter Clark Ann Passed away November 22, 2014. Her husband lives in Iowa. After celebrating their 51st Wedding Anniversary in October, Glen also passed away December 31, 2016. Gray Funeral Home is still ran by the Gray family. Janice, Stephen, Denise, Jacob, Caleb, Hannah and Levi are all part of the continued dream of Glen. Stephen also is the pastor of Discovery Family Church in Collinsville.
